In 1999 he began a project to document, in color, the historic seaside
town of Ocean Grove, NJ, where he now resides. This community had begun
a rebirth in the 1990's, and he wanted to document the spirit of its
renaissance. One of this series was published in the book New Jersey
24/7. The Ocean Grove photos are frequently featured in The Ocean Grove
Record newspaper (oceangroverecord.com).
His black and white photographs are made with Leica and Hasselblad film
cameras, using natural light. He continues to do his own darkroom work,
creating hand made silver gelatin prints.
